A well-established not-for-profit health system in coastal Texas is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gastroenterologist to join a rapidly growing employed GI program. This is a primarily outpatient|ambulatory position with an immediate built-in patient base, strong referral volume, and dedicated inpatient GI hospitalist coverage.
The practice offers a Monday-Friday schedule, typically with three clinic days and two procedure days, modern endoscopy equipment, EPIC, and strong clinical support. Physicians may focus on general GI or develop advanced interests such as ERCP, EUS, and hepatobiliary care. Current community demand is exceptionally high, with thousands of pending referrals and long screening colonoscopy wait times.
Compensation includes a $750,000 guaranteed salary for the first two years, productivity incentives at $68.50 per wRVU, quality bonuses, sign-on bonus up to $75,000, relocation assistance, fellowship stipends, malpractice with tail coverage, generous PTO, CME, retirement benefits, and a comprehensive benefits package.
