Position: Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (1900–0730)
Pay Range: $63–$67|hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (Med-Surg RN) to provide quality patient care in Columbia, Missouri. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment, communication, and clinical skills, with the ability to care for patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.
RN Med-Surg - Nights - 13 Weeks - Columbia, Missouri
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical patients.
Assess patients' health conditions, monitor vital signs, and identify changes in clinical status.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Educate patients and families about treatments, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain patient safety and follow facility policies and infection-control procedures.
Requirements
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.
Current BLS|BCLS certification.
COVID card|documentation as required by the facility.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to work night shifts and commit to a 13-week contract.
Compensation & Schedule
Hourly Pay: $63–$67
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
