NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist We are seeking a skilled NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist to join our team in Houston, TX. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering exceptional pharmaceutical care to critically ill neonates. You will collaborate closely with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes through expert medication management and clinical support. Key Responsibilities: Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to neonates in the NICU. Develop and maintain communication systems to ensure effective information flow among staff. Act as a mentor and educator for pharmacy students, staff, and residents. Identify opportunities for cost containment and improvements in clinical pharmacy services. Plan and manage resources to ensure continuity of care across various settings. Participate in clinical research to evaluate drug and regimen outcomes. Develop and implement utilization reviews and medication use assessments. Oversee the clinical students and residency program to ensure high-quality educational experiences. Ensure safety and adherence to all policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of service. Qualifications and Experience: PharmD degree with completion of a PGY2 residency in Pediatrics or Critical Care with NICU experience. Licensed to practice pharmacy in Texas. Proven NICU clinical pharmacy experience. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Familiarity with pharmacy and hospital computer systems. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: $131,000.00 - $156,000.00 USD. Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement plans.
