Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a 13-week contract assignment in Craig, Colorado. The RN will provide safe, timely, and compassionate care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergency and acute medical conditions.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
Perform rapid assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
Assist with stabilization and management of emergency conditions.
Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
Educate patients and families regarding treatment and discharge instructions.
Follow hospital policies, infection-control standards, and patient-safety protocols.
Requirements
Current RN license eligible to practice in Colorado.
2 years of hospital nursing experience preferred.
Current certifications required:
BLS|BCLS
ACLS
PALS
NRP
TNCC
STABLE
Ability to work night shifts.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Compensation & Contract
Gross Weekly: $2,340
Hours: 36 hours|week
