Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical|Telemetry (MS|Tele) for a 13-week contract assignment in Kealakekua, Hawaii. The RN will provide safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care to patients with medical-surgical and telemetry needs while collaborating with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor changes in condition.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and recognize changes requiring timely intervention.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Monitor vital signs, laboratory results, and diagnostic findings.
Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and discharge planning.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and hospital policies.
Respond appropriately to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed.
Requirements
Current RN license eligible to practice in Hawaii.
Previous Medical-Surgical and|or Telemetry RN experience preferred.
Current BLS certification through AHA required.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work 12-hour day and|or night shifts.
Must be available for the full 13-week contract.
Compensation
Gross Weekly Pay: $2,520 for 36 hours|week
