We are seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to enhance our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. This role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure top-tier, evidence-based care for critically ill adult patients. Key Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adult ICU patients. Conduct admissions, daily rounds, and manage complex medical cases. Perform procedures such as central lines, arterial lines, and intubations, as credentialed. Collaborate effectively with intensivists, hospitalists, nursing staff, and specialists. Engage in multidisciplinary care planning and quality improvement projects. Maintain accurate documentation within the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system. Qualifications Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP preferred) or Physician Assistant program. Board certification required. Eligibility for Alabama licensure. Preferred background in ICU or critical care; new graduates with significant ICU RN experience will be considered for NP roles. BLS and ACLS certifications are mandatory.
