Bilingual / Monolingual School Psychologist (CPSE Program) Queens, New York Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent | Direct Hire | On-Site Schedule: School Calendar Schedule (Includes 6-Week Summer Program & Built-In Administrative Days) An established Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) program in Queens, is seeking a full-time Bilingual or Monolingual School Psychologist to join its multidisciplinary therapeutic team. Working with children ages 3–5 in a specialized school setting, you will conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, deliver IEP-mandated counseling, and collaborate closely with an experienced team of special education teachers, social workers, speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and physical therapists. New graduates holding state certification are warmly welcomed to apply. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and gather detailed social and developmental histories for children ages 3–5 Prepare clear, thorough diagnostic, psychological, and behavioral reports in alignment with clinical standards Provide evidence-based recommendations and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design effective behavioral and developmental interventions Deliver individual and group counseling, as well as parent training, in accordance with student Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Participate actively in treatment planning, interdisciplinary case conferences, feedback sessions, annual reviews, and official IEP meetings Foster positive, collaborative communication among clinical supervisors, school staff, and student families Maintain strict compliance with all relevant New York State, CPSE, and agency regulations and standards Qualifications: Certification: Active New York State Certification as a School Psychologist required Language Proficiency: Bilingual (Spanish/English) or Monolingual candidates are eligible Clinical Skills: Proficiency in administering and interpreting the Behavior Assessment System for Children-3 (BASC-3) Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to partner effectively across a diverse, multidisciplinary team of therapists and educators Experience Level: New graduates completing certification are warmly welcomed to apply Benefits Follows a traditional school calendar with built-in administrative days and a structured 6-week summer program Top-tier Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance options Employer-sponsored 401(k) plan and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) Employer-provided Life Insurance, Voluntary Term Life (VTL), Short-Term Disability, and Long-Term Disability Paid Maternity Leave (MAT) and staff-discounted on-site daycare for children ages 2 to 5 years old Generous PTO policy covering dedicated sick and vacation time Tuition reimbursement assistance and access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Salary: The posted range is not a guarantee.
