(Physician/MD qualifications required) Psychiatry (Child and Adolescent) - We are seeking a highly qualified and dedicated Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our clinical team and oversee the delivery of comprehensive mental health services in an inpatient acute care setting. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in child adolescent psychiatric care, healthcare management, and clinical leadership. As a Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, compliance with regulatory requirements, and effective clinical operations. This role offers an opportunity to influence clinical practices, promote innovative treatment approaches, and uphold excellence in mental health services. This role also involves clinical practice in an in-patient setting with an Average Case load of 18 patients. This is purely a virtual role and the Provider can be based in any state, however a Kentucky license is required. Base salary starts at $350,000-$400,000+ plus full benefits package including PTO, CME, Malpractice coverage and additional incentives.
Responsibilities
Provide expert psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning for child and adolescent populations while ensuring adherence to best practices and clinical guidelines.
Oversee medical records management, ensuring accurate documentation in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems in compliance with privacy regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, supervise clinical staff (PMHNPs), and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements
Medical degree (MD or DO) with board certification in Child Adolescent Psychiatry
Valid medical license to practice psychiatry within the state of Kentucky
