Master’s Degree in Audiology required; PhD strongly preferred. Current Audiology License from the Pennsylvania State Licensing Board is mandatory. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) from ASHA or Board Certification from the American Board of Audiology is required upon hire. Preferred Experience Experience in a pediatric medical-based setting is preferred but not required. Professional Attributes Exemplary communication skills. A positive attitude and professional demeanor. Work Schedule This is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with responsibilities across multiple locations. Alternative schedules and part-time hours may be considered on a case-by-case basis, excluding 4x10 shifts. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive audiological assessments for children using diagnostic tests, adhering to departmental and regulatory guidelines. Interpret and communicate test results effectively to patients, families, and healthcare providers. Collaborate with physicians in diagnosing and treating auditory disorders. Counsel patients and their families on hearing loss, rehabilitation options, and educational services. Ensure smooth care transitions and proper follow-up scheduling with managing audiologists. Maintain productivity and fiscal responsibility in service provision. Stay updated with department policies and procedures, incorporating research into practice.
