Dentist Compensation: $180K-$220K per year Job Type: Monday–Friday, 3-4 10 hour shifts per week. A Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) in upstate New York is seeking a General Dentist to join our dedicated team in Auburn, NY. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, mission-driven dental professional who values quality care, work-life balance, and community impact. Key Responsibilities: Stay current with advancements and best practices in dentistry. Examine, diagnose, and treat oral and dental conditions for patients of all ages. Provide preventative dental services and patient education. Perform comprehensive dental treatments including fillings, crowns, bridges, and dentures. Deliver pediatric dental care, including extractions, restorations, stainless steel crowns, and pulpotomy/pulpectomy procedures. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and ongoing dental health. Manage dental emergencies such as acute hemorrhage, anaphylaxis, respiratory or cardiac arrest, and seizures. Maintain accurate, complete, and confidential electronic medical records (EMR) in accordance with organizational and regulatory standards. Refer patients to dental or medical specialists as appropriate and consult on complex cases when needed. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes. Attend staff development trainings and maintain continuing education requirements. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards in all patient interactions.
