Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) ***New Grads Welcome*** Compensation: $63K-$78K per year Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift. Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Bronx, NY location. Duties and Responsibilities: Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties. Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student. Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions. Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings. Job Requirements: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
