Senior Job Captain – Healthcare – Inpatient and Ambulatory Care New York, NY OR Long Island, NY Our client is a leading architectural firm with offices around the Tri-state and Florida. They are currently seeking a Senior Job Captain with 10+ years of experience working on inpatient and ambulatory care projects. The ideal candidate will manage the production of architectural drawings and coordination of consultants from survey of sites to the completion of contract documents, and provide construction administration services. To be considered, candidates must understand NYC and NYS Building Codes, DOB, DOH, NFPA, and FGI Guidelines. This role requires strong documentation and organizational skills as well as attention to detail. Responsibilities: · Assist in DOB and DOH code review, and building analysis · Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit and Bluebeam · Interface with the clients and consultants · Lead the production of the architectural set of drawings from schematic design through construction documents · Coordination of architectural documents with other consultants · Review and markup architectural documents · Respond to RFI’s during the GC Bidding phase · Review and process of shop drawings and submittals during construction administration · Respond to RFI’s during construction · Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports Requirements: · Minimum of 10 years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects · Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills · Proficient in computer assisted design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam · A strong understanding and experience with NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 for Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines, filing strategies, and base building infrastructure Annual Salary Range*: $90K to $130K Schedule: Full-Time | 4 days in office + 1 remote day Location: New York Office or Long Island Office *Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, skill set, and location
