Location: Lawrenceville, Georgia
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 16 weeks

Position Summary
TRITAL Care is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 16-week travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. The technologist will perform routine and advanced CT examinations for emergency, inpatient and outpatient populations.
This is a weekend-night assignment requiring proficiency in trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine CT imaging. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the assigned workplace to qualify for this travel position.
Responsibilities
• Operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Perform routine and advanced CT examinations according to established protocols.
• Support trauma, stroke, cardiovascular and image-guided procedural cases.
• Provide age-appropriate imaging services to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Review imaging orders and verify patient identity, history and examination requirements.
• Position patients safely and select appropriate scanning protocols.
• Administer contrast media within the technologist’s authorized scope of practice and facility policy.
• Monitor patients for possible contrast reactions and follow established emergency procedures.
• Apply radiation-safety and dose-reduction practices.
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality before completing examinations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in applicable imaging systems.
• Communicate critical information to radiologists, nurses and other clinical team members.
• Follow infection-control, patient-safety and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
• Minimum two years of recent CT experience
• Current ARRT certification in Computed Tomography—ARRT (CT)
• Current BLS certification
• Recent experience operating Siemens CT scanners
• Proficiency in trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural and routine CT examinations
• Experience working with emergency, inpatient and outpatient populations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Level II Trauma Center
• Ability to work the complete weekend-night schedule
• Successful completion of all required health, background, credentialing and compliance requirements
Schedule Requirements
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday
• 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.
• 12-hour night shifts
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend availability is an essential requirement of this assignment
Holiday Requirements
The selected traveler must be available to work:
• Two of the following three major holidays:
o Thanksgiving Day
o Christmas Day
o New Year’s Day
• One of the following three additional holidays:
o Friday after Thanksgiving
o Christmas Eve
o New Year’s Eve
The specific holiday schedule will be assigned based on departmental coverage needs.
