Role Description:

• Cardiologist - Heart Failure
• Location: Denver, CO
• Seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist joining (5) Invasive Non-Interventional Cardiologists and (2) Electrophysiologists
• You would be the first Heart Failure Specialist joining the Cardiology department
• Focused on diagnosing, managing, and treating patients when the disease becomes complex, progressive, or resistant to standard care.
• No heart transplants. Just heart failure management / referral.
• Expert fine-tuning of multi-medication regimens to prevent hospitalizations and improve heart functions
• Complex Diagnostics: Interpreting advanced imaging, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, dynamic biomarker trends, and invasive right heart catheterizations. 
• Advanced Therapies & Surgical Evaluation: Assessing and managing patients for mechanical circulatory support or placing them on the organ waitlist for heart transplantation. 
• Rare Disease Management: Diagnosing rare causes of heart muscle failure, including cardiac amyloidosis, sarcoidosis, and viral or genetic cardiomyopathies.

Requirements:

• Colorado State Medical License
• Must be Board Certified / Board Eligible Cardiology - Heart Failure
• Open to current fellowship candidates
