Must have a current California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist|OT

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to fill an opening with an Adult Day Care Center located in Mountain View, California

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
?Must have graduated from an accredited school.
?Must have a current California state license as a Registered Occupational Therapist|OT
?Must have valid California Driver’s license, clean driving record, appropriate insurance and reliable vehicle
?Must be able to cater to tasks with physical demands (lift, transfer, push|pull, maneuver, reposition, etc.)

Benefits of the Occupational Therapist:
?The salary for this position is $60 | hr

Schedule of the Occupational Therapist:
?The is a Part-time position
?On-site during our hours of operation
?Monday-Friday 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM (with some flexibility)
?Hours range between 12-16 hours|week - vary based on participant caseload.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
?Assessment and Person-Centered Care Planning for incoming and active participants.
?Member of the Multidisciplinary Team and assist with carrying out the Team’s plan of care.
?Provide Activities of Daily Living care to participants, as needed, and training of staff (grooming, dressing, hygiene, body mechanics).
?Conduct in-home evaluations, as appropriate, for home safety considerations and recommendations.
?Demonstrates safe practices by utilizing proper body mechanics, adhering to universal precautions, and maintaining environmental safety.
?Contribute to the welcoming environment, assisting participants as needed.
?Supervise participants throughout the Center to ensure their safety, proper care, and comfort.
?Attend staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
?Ability to safely move upwards of 35 pounds.
?Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and in-services.
?Perform other related duties as assigned.
