Location: Geneva, NY (Finger Lakes Region)
NYS Registration and License as a Certified Athletic Trainer
NATABOC Certification.
BLS Certification required through the RQI system during clinical orientation.
The Athletic Trainer is needed to provide Athletic Training services in accordance with standards of the Athletic Training Practice Act, NYS Department of Health, NATA and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Hospitals.
The Trainer is a health care professional who will work to prevent, recognize, manage and rehabilitate injuries that result from physical activity. As part of a complete health care team, the certified Athletic Trainer will be directed by and work in cooperation with a licensed physician and other health care professionals, athletics administrators, coaches and parents.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides patient evaluations
Provides patient treatment
Plans, coordinates and evaluates his|her patient
